We were having so much fun that Harold Off's new mascot plumb lost its head! The slightly used lawn flamingo was making the rounds as part of the group's good-natured frivolity.




That is a big ledge! Nancy Bailey's Scrambler is shod with 42" tires and she worked the ledge a long time before finally catching the right line and popping up and over.


"Winch!" was a common theme on the last ledge on the Cactus Ridge trail. As opposed to common thought, this climb gets more difficult with an increase in wheelbase.


Pat Brady takes the White Pig at the final ledge on Cactus Ridge. The ledge has enough slope to make the front end slide dangerously left on aborted assaults.

The light front ends had more than a few drivers a bit puckered up. Jim Bailey kept his cool as he worked the ledge and finally found enough traction to propel him to the top.
