The consoles arrived in a few days and I was ready to do the installation. The floor model was the first to get the nod. Following the instruction sheet, the original all plastic very wimpy console was speedily removed. Tuffy includes very specific instruction sheets that take you step by step through the entire installation. It took me about two and a half hours

working by myself to install the floor unit (I’m not necessarily the fastest draw in the west!). The installation went smoothly. Whenever I couldn’t figure something out myself, a closer look at the instruction sheet cleared things up. The center console is a neat and tidy design. It fits snugly between the front bucket seats and adds to the visual ruggedness of the Jeep. The console has two covers that lock securely with one small key. The armrest padding on the top lid is sufficient and very comfortable. The console has a front radio space and a large cargo compartment in the center with a coin tray built in.
