John is the president of the 4x4 product development arm at Currie Enterprises. He has used this Jeep to design and test new products and concepts. One nice thing about watching this Jeep perform on the rocks is that anyone can build virtually the same rig by perusing the pages of the Currie catalog. All the major upgrade components on this rig are off-the-shelf items that Curries sell.

Granted, there are many upgrades on the TJ hewn from sweat equity and ingenuity. Items like the raised body mounts, the pulley wheel winch lever or the ‘secret weapon’ ring true the phrase.. "Real Jeeps are built, not bought".
