A new face to rock crawling yet a very familiar one to off-roading was Walker Evans. We featured Walkers Chevy S-10 with some spy photos during the buildup and here it is on the trail. Evans was only the 3rd driver to navigate the treacherous obstacle number 5.

Joel Randall was one of the Nebraska boys that came all the way down for the competition. His spotter, Mike Vokoum didn't have nearly as far to travel as he is now living in Mesa. The two old high school buddies tackled the rocks with a vengeance. Their third place finish over all was a sure sign that those farm boys really know how to drive.
