| I'm sure that many of you wonder why Jeep offers so many vehicles that have an uncanny ability to travel the backcountry. Other manufacturers have at least the same research and development resources as Daimler Chrysler, yet nobody else sells a 4x4 with the same tough "go anywhere" adaptability of the Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Cherokee. Besides having decades of experience in building tough 4x4's, we found that there is a core group of Jeep engineers who are four wheeling enthusiasts. That, probably above any other reason, is why Jeep still builds the best backcountry vehicles available today. |  |
