The Toyota Land Cruiser front end was improved by the installation of an All-Pro Off Road "Hy-Steer" kit. The Hy-Steer kit consists of steering arms and a tie rod and drag link that are way up out of the way of those nasty, tie-rod-eating rocks. The rear end features a Toyota V6 third member, which is stronger than the stock Land Cruiser third member. Front and rear ends have 4.88 gears and ARB Air Lockers installed.

The suspension was built by All-Pro Off Road and is a custom leaf spring setup. As you can see in the photos, the springs allow plenty of articulation. To control axle wrap, a ladder bar was fabricated for the rear end. During the suspension buildup, the body was trimmed away and the rear end was moved 12" rearward. The wheelbase is now a whopping 102", which makes for more a more stable vehicle on steep climbs, but doesn't compromise the ÔCruiser's tight trail ability too much.
